Sound Video LR

Teacher Feedback
Seriously impressive editing -  the way the parallel opening cuts to the beat is not easy to achieve. This is technically superb
I'm not sure the contrapuntal element works... particularly as you've again edited to the beat which gives it  a natural parallel element
You've also not quite followed the brief - one piece of music. But the editing is still superb

3) Now reflect on your work and write your own comments. Add three WWWs and three EBIs underneath the rest of your feedback.

For what went well I am happy with the way the parallel music fits all the clips and happy about eh s=choice of music. Next time I would definitely try to follow the brief more and make sure the contrapuntal music and clip was more obvious

4) Learner response: compare your own video against your evaluation of the top three videos in the class. Whose did you think was best and why? How could you have improved your own video?

I believed Yasmin, Hamza and Cerys made the best videos out of the class. Yasmin was really good because it got a great amount of reaction from the class. Hamzas one was geat too since he recorded his clips and I believe his parallel went really well with the music. Lastly, Cerys was great because she followed the brief accurately. Therefore I could have improved my video by following the brief which would have caused the audience to react more.

5) Finally, what have you learned about the importance of sound to film and TV through this week's work?

Sound can be extremely important for film and tv language because the sound can portray the emotions, feelings and atmosphere and also sound can have a heavy influence on the narrative as well.
